Columbia River fishing report for June 1st

By July 19, 2013Fishing Reports

Fishing on the Columbia River for Spring Chinook has finally started to slow down. But the good news is Columbia River Summer Chinook is right around the Corner! June is my favorite time of year because of the chances of catching a Sturgeon, Spring Chinook, Summer Steelhead, sockeye, or a Summer Chinook all in the same day is very likely. In the mean time we have been fishing for and catching keeper sturgeon on a daily basis. Keeper sturgeon fishing has actually been RED HOT for about 2 weeks now! With the sturgeon season coming to a close on June 16th, I expect the sturgeon fishing to stay strong all the way to the ender. Up next are Summer Chinook and I am expecting this year to be one for the record books. Stay tuned.
