You will be fishing out of a heated 26ft Alumaweld Columbia jet sled. Alumawelds are the #1 selling boat for Northwest fisherman and are specifically designed for NW guides and serious fisherman alike. Our boats are also equipped with the very best Garmin electronics, rods and reels, and six comfortable high back chairs with arm rests.  All of our chairs are on pedestals which make the boat roomier and more comfortable between the action.  Fishing on the Columbia River for Salmon, Steelhead, and Sturgeon requires a boat that is well equipped to handle a variety of conditions that are thrown at us daily.  And the  Alumaweld Columbia is that boat.

Many days, we fish nice calm conditions that are easy to maneuver and troll while fishing.  On the other hand, we sometimes find ourselves at the mercy of the wind, currents, and tides.  When fishing in these conditions, having a great boat that can handle is our key to success.  The Alumaweld Columbia is the boat for the job.  With a length of 26ft, 35-inch sides and a deep V hull to handle wind chop and waves there’s are little to no days that can be deemed dangerous to operate.

Our boat is equipped with wearable pdf life jackets and coast guard approved type 1 lifejackets.  Also required by law are a throwable floatation devices, 2 fire extinguishers, and noise making apparatus such as a whistle or horn. Safety is top priority on the boat as it should be.

Another big upgrade for this year is an electric bow mount motor.  Electric bow mount motors allow us to sit in spots without having to throw an anchor and also be stealthy while we fish due to no noise coming from gas powered engines.  This in my opinion, is detrimental to being more successful on the water.

Also added this year, is the Garmin live scope system.  Live scope is considered the most advanced sonar system available.  This sonar system reads in real time, and you can actually see the shapes of the fish that you are targeting.  Also, it gives info on how the fish are reacting to our presentations, telling us what we need to do to entice them to bite our fishing gear.  Really, it’s something you have to see to believe, and it adds a whole new form of entertainment while fishing! Looking forward to seeing you on the Water!
